Headline on the BBC (and a big headline on the Drudge Report): Syria ‘fires on Israel warplanes’
Headline on Al-Jazeera: Israeli jets ‘enter’ Syria airspace (Drudge has a lesser headline “Israeli planes had ‘dropped ammunition’ over desert areas of Syria…”)
Need I spell it out? The headlines are correct factually, but you get a completely different sense of the most relevant facts.
When you read a story on this page, at least you know beforehand that there’s going to be bias and a witty joke. Or a not-so-witty joke.
(As an aside: At least one of you has mentioned Liquid Egg Product is almost exclusively your source of news. After some reflection, this is more frightening than flattering, and I am hoping that declaration was hyperbole. If not, please get out more or something.)
In other news, Pavarotti dying is a big deal today.
(This post sucked, but I’ve got no time to polish it during work. Sorry.)
hey all the news we get is dripping with opinion anyway. why not yours? at least we know where you live if you misinform us.
People are going to come by and “discuss” matters if I misinform them? Uh-oh. (Makes a phone call to 1-800-BOUNCER.)
