4 out of 5 of 87% of the people they surveyed purchase another pair within 3 months? I’m so confused…

I don’t see what’s wrong with their statement. They’re just saying 87% purchase another pair within 3 months. To have 87% and summarize that as 4 out of 5 is reasonable since 4 out of 5 is much easier to read and understand than 87 out of 100. In fact, if anything 4 out of 5 is underselling their point by 7%.
Now the real WTF is that the initial impression I get is that the build quality of these shoes are so crappy that within 3 months they have to buy another one.
Naw, what struck me was “90% exercise 20% longer w/no fatigue(!) Reeeallly? Now, that’s something. NO FATIGUE! No matter how fast they jog, or whatever. Extrapolating, I could run a marathon w/no fatigue. You find the best stuff!
@Allen: Funny thing, their website has something completely different. So whatever this “survey” is a crock of crap anyway.
@Mrs. Chessloser: Good thing there are 6 other days of the week.
@Robert: What they mean is that they normally don’t feel fatigue for the first 5 seconds of exercising. These shoes extend period that 20% longer (6 seconds).

3 of those 4 numbers are 12% wrong. But I mostly always like surveys.
Especially when the surveys are completely made up.
Ummmm….
They were just trying to say the 69.6% of people bought another pair within 3 months.
See? Doesn’t 87% 4 out of 5 buy another pair within 3 months sound better now?
