Wharehouse Sale
At least the word “Sale” looks nice, and it’s just some local guy scrawling on a chalkboard so maybe the misspelling’s not too surprising.

U-Haul used to have on the side of their trucks the name of a state with a relevant mural. They were attractive and it was always nice seeing another U-Haul with state art that I hadn’t seen before. They’ve started to get rid of the paintings and replace them with an insipid, unremarkable $19.95 per day message. It’s bad enough they eliminated the creativity, but the spelling error is inexcusable…

U-haul only $19.95 plus milage

Annie and I are thinking on same track. At first glance my dyslexic mind thought it said whorehouse. 🙂

I didn’t even notice the misspelling in the first photo, but “milage” caught my eye.

Wahahaha! Thanks Tacticus for pointing out, once again, that I work for a complete fool.

Thanks Tacticus for pointing out, once again, that I look like a complete fool.

Although if this was the price for not going 0-9, I’ll gladly take it.

Poo Websters. Type in “milage” in Word and you get the red squiggly underline. Therefore “milage” is at best a mistake in spelling and at worst an imaginary word. Like misunderestimate.

HA! Vindicated! Put that in your shell and beat it, Mascot. (and Tacticus, but to a lesser extent). hahaha

Or Microsoft is wrong and those other people are right.

Factoid: Mozilla’s Thunderbird e-mail client considers Thunderbird a misspelling.
